Disneyland Ejects Guests for Installing Cryptocurrency Banner at Park Entrance

Someone was kicked out of Disneyland Resort recently for hanging an unauthorized advertisement for cryptocurrency.

Guest Tries to Advertise Cryptocurrency

TikTok user @LaTruce posted two videos about the incident, which happened during the weekend of D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event. In the first, a person wearing a red shirt and ball cap is hanging a banner for the crypto coin Maneki on a tall green planter in the Disneyland Resort promenade.

In the second video, filmed at a distance, a Cast Member is visible talking to the person, who removes the banner. According to LaTruce, it only took about a minute and 12 seconds for a Cast Member to arrive and tell the guest to leave. LaTruce said the person was escorted off property.

LaTruce also included the clips as part of a longer YouTube video, embedded below.

While advertisements are not among those items listed as prohibited by Disneyland Resort rules and regulations, Disney does note they “reserve the right not to allow any bag, parcel or other item” at the resort.

Another funny guest incident (because nobody was harmed) involved a guest’s fan taking flight on Incredicoaster in Disney California Adventure.
