First Responder Family Received All-Expenses-Paid Vacation to Walt Disney World

Rewarding Responders granted an Emergency Services Captain and her daughter a week-long magical vacation to Walt Disney World in recognition of her service.

Allison Bissette, a Captain with Johnston County Emergency Services, and her daughter, Avery, who live in Eastern, North Carolina, spent a week in the “Most Magical Place on Earth,” fully paid for by Rewarding Responders. This trip marked Avery’s first visit to Walt Disney World.

The vacation included; lodging, admission to all four theme parks, food and beverages, souvenirs, and exclusive experiences.

“Disconnecting from the tasks and responsibilities of everyday life is something that is so important for our families- and our main goal,” said Mallory Dumond, Founder and President of Rewarding Responders. “We hope with our trips, we can help lighten the selfless burden that our community first responders carry.”

Rewarding Responders is a nonprofit organization based in Wayne County, Michigan. The organization seeks to reward first responders and their families with all-expenses-paid vacations, giving the families time to unplug, reset, build family bonds, and create lifelong memories with their families.
