Today is a very special day in Disney history as it marks what would’ve been the 25th anniversary of Illuminations: Reflections of Earth at EPCOT. This week also marks five years since the show came to an end on September 30, 2019.

In the time since Illuminations went away, it has cast a large shadow over World Showcase Lagoon, a shadow so long that no show has been able to emerge from it. Disney Parks are special places because they are filled with experiences that we carry with us for a lifetime. The creativity and passion that created Pirates of the Caribbean, The Haunted Mansion, “it’s a small world”, and countless other legendary attractions (upon which Disney’s theme park reputation was built) is the same that was found a generation later in 1999 when Reflections of Earth debuted as part of the beloved Millennium Celebration at Walt Disney World.

The music, the technology, the heart, and the dazzling pyrotechnics will live on with guests forever, but in the hopes of expanding the knowledge of just how special of an attraction this nighttime spectacular was, we at WDWNT are proud to finally release the full day of presentations that were given at our Reflections of Forever event in 2019, marking the final day of this iconic evening display. We hope you will enjoy over four hours of behind-the-scenes magic revealing the creation and nightly execution of Illuminations: Reflections of Earth from those who made it happen!
