At long last, the walls surrounding The Cake Bake Shop are down. In our most recent update, the white walls featuring images of desserts were still surrounding the location.

The walls have been replaced by rolling planters and green barricades.

There is an opening at the end of the restaurant that doesn’t have a barricade, so we were able to get an unobstructed view of the building. It looks like construction is all but finished, as lights are on, windows are installed, and paint has been added.

A Cake Bake Shop menu, encased in a decorative frame, is elegantly mounted on a wall between two windows.

With the walls down, we were able to get our first look at the menus for both the restaurant and bakery. The menu in the above photo is for the restaurant, and there are a lot of offerings.

A displayed restaurant menu, revealed in a decorative white frame against a window backdrop, hints at the delightful offerings of Cake Bake Shop.

The top half of the restaurant menu lists breakfast and brunch offerings, as well as non-alcoholic drinks. The breakfast and brunch offerings include varieties of waffles, French toast, pancakes, eggs, breakfast cakes, quiche, croques, and croissants. There are also children’s breakfast options and alcoholic Mimosas and Bloody Marys available.

The non-alcoholic beverages include various teas, lemonades, sodas, pots of tea, milk, coffee, and espresso.

A Cake Bake Shop menu revealed on a glass window showcases an array of enticing food and beverage sections. Reflective surfaces catch glimpses of passersby as they admire the culinary offerings.

The bottom half of the menu displays all the lunch and dinner offerings, as well as a list of cocktails, champagne, wine, and beer.

The lunch and dinner offerings include Hors d’Oeuvres, sandwiches, salads, quiches, sides, soups, and entrees.

Lunch is served daily from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

An ornate-trimmed, illuminated white menu board at the Cake Bake Shop displays delectable items and prices. It stands beside a glass door that reflects the cloudy sky and greenery, inviting you to step inside as walls come down to reveal a cozy culinary haven.

The bakery menu features pictures of cakes, as well as a list of other sweet treats available inside.

The Cake Bake Shop's menu reveals delightful selections of cakes, homemade ice cream, coffee, espresso, tea, juice, soda, wine, and beer.

Some of the cakes pictured include the Millionaire Cake, the Pumpkin Spice Cinnamon Roll Cake, and the Pumpkin Chocolate Cake.

There are also various types of homemade fudge, ice cream, and sorbet. As with the restaurant, alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, such as champagne, beer, wine, coffee, tea, juice, and soda are available.

A lit menu display at the bake shop showcases a delightful array of desserts, featuring cakes, pies, cookies, and pastries with details and prices.

The rest of the cake pictures show Gwendolyn’s Famous Earl’s Court Chocolate Cake, Pixie Fetti Birthday Cake, Raspberry Champagne Cake, Red Velvet Cake, Carrot Cake, and Oprah’s ‘O’ List Miny Chocolate Chip Cake.

Other offerings include pies, cheesecakes, French pastries, cookies, bars, breakfast cakes, and croissants.

Under a partly cloudy sky, people stroll along a boardwalk past white buildings and an ice cream shop, its enticing menu boasting sweet treats from both the parlor and the bake shop.

The Cake Bake Shop by Gwendolyn Rogers was originally announced in early 2022. Concept art was released in late 2022, and the location was set to open in 2023. In December 2023, the location began hiring culinary leaders. In March 2024, hiring began for various other positions. Now after over two years of construction, the location looks like it’s just about ready to welcome its first customers.

An official opening date has not yet been released.
