Best Disneyland Day at Halloween Time! Storytellers Breakfast, Rides, and Fun with Friends

Our second day of the Disneyland Half Marathon weekend was nothing short of magical as we dove into Halloween Time at the park! We kicked off the day with a special fall-themed breakfast at Storytellers Cafe and ended it with rides, festive treats, and a perfect Disneyland evening.

Storytellers Cafe – Mickey’s Autumn Adventures

We started the day with an incredible character breakfast at Storytellers Cafe at the Grand Californian, where Mickey and his friends were dressed up for Mickey’s Autumn Adventures. The seasonal all-you-can-eat buffet costs $60 for adults and $35 for kids and includes a variety of breakfast options like Mickey waffles, biscuits and gravy, French toast, and more. The character interactions were the highlight! Pluto surprised me right away, and Mickey insisted I take a banana, an apple, and some Rice Krispies to go – all in good fun, of course.

Exploring Halloween Time at Disneyland

After breakfast, we ventured into Disneyland, where the Halloween decorations were in full swing. Pumpkins shaped like Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and more greeted us at the front gate, and the festive spirit was everywhere. We rode Astro Blasters, checked out the Nemo Submarine Voyage, and wandered through Galaxy’s Edge, where I caught up with Chewy and rode Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run.

Halloween Treats and Rides

One of the day’s highlights was sampling seasonal treats. At Alien Pizza Planet, I tried their Dark Matter Pizza and Halloween-themed Alien Macaron filled with berries and cream. It was a delicious break before hopping back on the Haunted Mansion Holiday and finishing the day with a fun ride on the Jungle Cruise. We even found time to check out some new merchandise at World of Disney.

All in all, it was a packed and fun-filled day, perfect for Halloween Time at Disneyland!
