With Halloween rapidly approaching, Walt Disney World and Starlight Children’s Foundation teamed up to bring some spooky and festive fun to Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children.

Children at the hospital also received Disney Halloween costumes, toys, and books in collaboration with Starlight. Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse even made an appearance in fun Halloween costumes.

Gabby doesn’t get to have the same special moments that other kids have, so days like this are her way of having those — especially when she’s in the hospital for five months out of the year. It really helps her get through the harder moments.

We celebrate Halloween big in our parks, and we celebrate big in our community too. This visit is so much more than just a Halloween party, though. It’s a chance to help families make happy memories during stressful hospital stays with a little Disney magic.

This event is part of Disney’s broader initiative with Starlight Children’s Foundation for the Halloween season, which includes deliveries of 20,000 costumes from the Disney Store to 450 children’s hospitals and pediatric places of care across the nation. It also marks the beginning of Disney’s Season of Giving, which will continue through the end of 2024.

Disney has worked with Starlight Children’s Foundation for over 20 years to bring happiness to hospitals throughout the United States, as well as deliveries of themed hospital wear, care packages, and more.
