Cinderella Statue Removed from Outside World of Disney at Disney Springs

The Cinderella statue normally found outside one of the entrances to World of Disney at Disney Springs has been removed, likely for refurbishment.

We noticed the statue was gone during a visit to Disney Springs on Thursday, October 24.

A man in a red shirt stands by a column, looking at his phone. People walk past in the background.

Now in her place is a gray construction box, covering the platform where the statue once stood.

These statues have been removed in the past for repainting and refurbishment; that’s likely why Cindy has left her post. Above is our tweet from 2019, shortly after both Cinderella and Aurora returned to their spots following a repainting.

A statue of a princess in a pink gown stands outside a building on a paved area.

At the time of publication, the Aurora statue is still in place but looks a bit washed out and faded from the Florida sun. It’s possible her statue could be removed for refurbishment soon as well, or crews may choose to wait until Cinderella is back.
