REVIEW: We Ate a GIANT Mozzarella Stick at Disney World. You Know, for Science.

That’s why we’re always on the lookout for the latest and greatest eats that pop up around the Disney World parks and more. A long-awaited addition to Disney’s BoardWalk finally opened not too long ago, and now we’re headed back to try something NEW they just added to their menu!

We headed over to Blue Ribbon Corn Dogs at Disney’s BoardWalk to try the NEW Giant Mozzarella Stick. When they say “giant,” they really mean it — which is good since this thing costs a whopping $15.50. Luckily, it comes with plenty of marinara sauce for dipping and a bag of Lay’s Potato Chips on the side.

We seriously can’t stress enough how large this thing was — easily shareable between multiple people as a snack and potentially enough for one person to have for a meal, if you’re into that sort of thing.

But, man, if you’re a lover of cheese or mozzarella sticks in general, you need to run and try this thing! It’s so, so, so deliciously cheesy and the breading was perfectly crispy. There was definitely some oregano, cheese, and other spices in the breading which held up against the heft of the cheese.

CHEESE GALORE

It’s reminiscent of traditional fair food, and we do love that it’s still served on a stick to make it easy to eat. The marinara sauce was a welcome addition that helped to add some acidity to the richness of the cheese and breading, and it had a good flavor — not too sweet.

The sauce was on the chunkier side which did make it a bit hard to use as a dipping sauce, but that could have just been the batch we had. Overall, this was a great snack and one we will definitely be coming back to the BoardWalk to have again.
