An 80-year-old man suffering from severe urinary incontinence because of prostate issues was arrested for peeing in the bushes at Walt Disney World’s Transportation & Ticket Center last month.

Fernando Tadeo Bonnet was having an accident in his pants and finished going to the bathroom in the bushes, to the shock of the three Cast Members who witnessed the incident near the TTC security office, according to the recently released Orange County Sheriff’s report.

Tadeo Bonnet was arrested on September 24 for exposing his sexual organs, court records show. Two out of the three witnesses told law enforcement they wanted to pursue criminal charges against him.

His attorney, Alain Rivas, argued Tadeo Bonnet was dealing with a medical emergency and wasn’t exposing himself in a vulgar or indecent manner. He was just urinating in the most discrete space he could find.

The language barrier also made the situation worse since the Argentinian tourist isn’t a native English speaker, his attorney said.

“He certainly has not done anything wrong,” Rivas said. “This was very, very embarrassing. It was kind of devastating to the family.”

Tadeo Bonnet, who had a professional career as an engineer, doesn’t have a prior criminal record and medical records back up his medical issues, the attorney said.

On Thursday, the same day Rivas spoke to WDWNT, the state attorney’s office filed a notice it was no longer pursuing criminal charges against Tadeo Bonnet.

At about 7:15 p.m., Tadeo Bonnet was looking for the bathroom and asked a Disney Cast Member for directions. 

“As the employee was relaying to him this information, Fernando started to lose control of his bodily fluids and began to urinate in his pants. Fernando proceeded to go behind some bushes to finish relieving himself,” the arrest report said.

One Cast Member walking to her vehicle in the parking lot saw his penis and told authorities “she was both shocked and made to feel uncomfortable by the situation.”

Another Cast Member heading to the break room by the TTC security office saw Tadeo Bonnet looking for the bathroom.

The Cast Member told him where the bathroom and Tadeo Bonnet said he knew and then unzipped his pants to begin urinating, according to the arrest report.

A Disney security guard was notified on the radio about what was happening in time to catch Tadeo Bonnet in the act.

The guard “immediately ran out of the door of the security office and observed the light-skinned Hispanic male with his penis exposed and urinating,” the arrest report said. 

The security guard told Tadeo Bonnet in both English and Spanish to stop and directed him to the bathroom but he “appeared to dismiss the instructions,” the arrest report said.

The male security guard was the one who refused to testify at trial and didn’t want to pursue criminal charges.

The 80-year-old was arrested and taken to Orange County Jail, and then trespassed from Walt Disney World, ending his vacation.
