Rumors indicate that the Spider-Man Stuntronic show will soon end at Disney California Adventure Park.
Spider-Man Stuntronic Show Reportedly Ending
The Spider-Man Stuntronic show, which includes a robotic Spider-Man and live performers and is performed daily at Disney California Adventure is reported to be closing sometime in November. Our sources indicate that, ironically, Disneyland Forward is one of the reasons for the ending of the show.
Numerous sources have told us that performers have already been informed of the show’s impending end, though nothing has officially been reported by Disney. As always, nothing is confirmed until Disney announces it.
The closure of the Spider-Man Stuntronic show will mark the end of one of the highlights of a mostly negatively received land. The closure will also mark the second show cut from Avenger’s Campus, after “Dr. Strange: Mysteries of the Mystic Arts” ended earlier this year.
The closures come as Avenger’s Campus preps to become the home to two new rides, Stark Flight Lab and Avengers: Infinity Defense.
Because of the live actors, the audio-animatronic robot, and the techs, this is one of the largest entertainment cuts to date in a long list of entertainment cuts at Disneyland Resort.
