PHOTO REPORT: Disney’s Animal Kingdom 10/26/2024 (Stitch Popcorn Bucket, Christmas Decorations, & More)

Hello Yellow! Nana’s Princess Diary is here! I hope you guys had a magical week!

This week was A LOT. I returned to work on the 19th, and I was on Disney property EVERY DAY!

Sunday: EPCOT, Magic Kingdom, and Animal Kingdom, Monday: EPCOT, Tuesday: EPCOT, Wednesday: Magic Kingdom, Thursday: The Cake Bake Shop opening, Friday: New corndog at Blue Ribbon Corndog, and today: Animal Kingdom.

Sunday will be the first non-Disney day since returning to work. You might find me at Buc-ee’s.

In this PHOTO REPORT dated 10/26/2024, two hot air balloons gracefully float in a clear sky above a highway, with palm trees swaying and distant trees stretching toward the horizon near Disney's Animal Kingdom.

On the way to the park, I did see hot Balloons flying. We might need to get on so we can peep EPIC Universe.

Let the chaos begin, Shall we?

Roar from Disney’s Animal Kingdom

A hand holds a clear plastic cup with iced tea and straw, set against a parking lot scene with cars and traffic cones. Captured on 10/26/2024, this is part of an exciting photo report from Disney's Animal Kingdom.

This morning, I got a Starbie (Starbucks) iced tea extra sweet since I can’t afford $10 unsweet iced tea from The Cake Bake Shop. Half the price and more tea sounds good to me.

Animal Kingdom won’t let me bring in plastic straws, so I have paper straws in my car.

In a serene corner of Disney's Animal Kingdom, a group of people strolls past a closed cylindrical building, enveloped by towering trees—a snapshot worthy of a photo report.

The Outpost Shop is not open yet. I hope Disney didn’t forget the store still exists.

In this October 26, 2024, photo report from Disney's Animal Kingdom, two visitors stroll through Dinoland U.S.A., embraced by lush greenery and towering trees.

I skipped all the stores and went straight to DinoLand U.S.A. for the FIRST holiday decorations at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

A large dinosaur skeleton sculpture stands atop a red bridge structure, surrounded by trees under the clear blue sky, as if stepping out of a scene from Disney's Animal Kingdom.

The Brontosaurus fossil is completely covered in lights, as DinoLand U.S.A. preps for its final Christmas celebration.

A large dinosaur sculpture commands attention outside the Dinosaur ride at Disney's Animal Kingdom, set against a vibrant sign and colorful backdrop—perfect for a photo report capturing every playful detail.

Since I was already in DinoLand and no one was waiting, I decided to ride DINOSAUR.

In a whimsical twist at Disney's Animal Kingdom, a group of people, their faces overlaid with dinosaur images, enjoy a theme park attraction. A sign in the photo report reads "Expedition #05192K" and "Iguanodon (Extracted)," marking an unforgettable 2024 adventure.

I still hadn’t been on the ride since the Alioramus animatronic went missing. Nana doesn’t like that dark ride. It scares me A LOT. Above is the picture

Entrance to Dino-Rama theme park area at Disney's Animal Kingdom, where large dinosaur statues hold welcome signs, surrounded by colorful decorations and attractions for an unforgettable 2024 experience under a clear blue sky perfect for your photo report.

I then proceeded to have a nice walk around DinoLand U.S.A.

A photo booth screen at Disney's Animal Kingdom displays four lively pictures of a person making various expressions, with Disney PhotoPass options to confirm selections. This engaging photo report captures the essence of a magical day on 10/26/2024.

I stopped by the photo booth. Each park used to have one back in the day. I love stopping by them with my family when they are in town. This is my family tradition, and I’ve been doing it for at least 10 years. But now, Dinoland and Imagination are the only two places that still have. I assume they will take this away from here when DinoLand closes.

In this 2024 photo report, a tranquil lake reflects trees and buildings under a clear blue sky at Disney's Animal Kingdom, with lush greenery in the foreground.

On the way to Everest, I always take a morning Discovery River lagoon picture when I’m doing a loop.

Do you remember The Jungle Book: Alive with Magic? Rivers of Light? I miss those night shows in this lagoon. Some entertainment still hasn’t made it back or has remained “cut” as I wrote in another Nana’s Princess Diary. All the prices (including admission, annual passes, and food) have increased again this year, so can we have some more entertainment?

A vibrant store display showcases shelves of souvenir clothing, including yellow and blue t-shirts and shirts, alongside decorated pottery—a perfect capture for a 2024 Disney's Animal Kingdom photo report.

There was nothing new to report at Serka Zong Bazaar.

Hand holding two "Fuel Rod" portable chargers in front of a charging station at Disney's Animal Kingdom, capturing the moment for a photo report.

But I had to swap my FuelRod here! How many FuelRods do you carry? I usually have two.

Being a reporter, one is never enough. At EPCOT, there is no FuelRod machine in any of the pavilions at World Showcase. However, there is one in World Traveler by the international gate.

Four images capture a serene scene at a dock with kayaks and quaint wooden structures by a calm lake, nestled amid lush greenery under the clear sky—reminiscent of a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle, echoing the natural beauty seen in Disney's Animal Kingdom.

There was nothing new going on at the mosquito’s house.

A monkey sits atop a bamboo structure, surrounded by trees under a clear blue sky, much like a scene straight out of Disney's Animal Kingdom.

Today’s animal break featured a couple of monkeys hanging around.

A menu board labeled "Tasty Food" showcases various food and drink items with prices, set against a wooden and metal ceiling with hanging light bulbs. This charming scene captures the ambiance of Disney's Animal Kingdom in 2024, making for a perfect photo report opportunity.

I stopped by Yak & Yeti Local Foods Cafe. Do you remember when the side of fried rice was $4.99? Now it’s $7.99!

A small shop with a red sign reading "Zuri's Sweets Shop" and a banner below celebrating Disney's "The Lion King." Nestled in the rustic charm of Animal Kingdom, the building boasts painted details and is surrounded by trees, inviting guests into its whimsical world.

Zuri’s Sweets Shop still has Halloween treats!

A display case, reminiscent of Disney's Animal Kingdom, is filled with various themed cookies, each labeled with price tags. Perfect for a 2024 photo report capturing the culinary magic.

Oh wait, Halloween is not here yet, so of course it does. Stop by for some tasty choices.

Visitors converge around a large metallic robot statue in a themed park area, nestled within the lush greenery and rustic structures of Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

I walked through Pandora, but there were no holiday decorations yet.

This is also where I started to notice that some guests were holding THE popcorn bucket… Which one am I talking about? The Stich Halloween Bucket!!

A blue cartoon character figure in a black cape holds a small orange pumpkin-shaped container. It stands on a green surface with trees blurred in the background, reminiscent of scenes from Disney's Animal Kingdom.

I’ve wanted to get it so bad since I am the popcorn bucket collector (I can see a partial collection by my desk, and there are at least 20) but its only been available at the sold-out Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. My “friend” went to MNSSHP last week BUT he took a picture and didn’t ask me if I wanted one. (I’m questioning if we’re friends ?? lol )

A person at Disney's Animal Kingdom holds a large blue cartoon-themed popcorn bucket with a Halloween design, complete with a themed lanyard and backpack, captured in this photo report dated 10/26/2024.

Happily, I got my Stich Popcorn bucket and checked the front stores.

Then Tom called me to send me on a mission… The mission will be uploaded on Instagram or TikTok next week, so stay tuned!

Thank you for reading to the end. I hope you got a little chuckle from Nana’s Princess Diary!

Have a Magical Day!
