Tadeo Miguel Angel Bessacolmenares, 45, of Orlando, was arrested on September 29 after he made the fake threat to a Disney security guard at the hotel’s front gate, according to court records and the Orange County Sheriff’s Office arrest affidavit.

Bessacolmenares said he was there to “blow up the resort” when pulled up to the security front gate in a 2024 White Toyota Corolla around 3 p.m.

“Excuse me?” the Disney security guard asked him.

Bessacolmenares repeated it.

“The driver once again stated that he was there to blow up the resort, that his trunk was full of explosives and giggled,” the arrest report said. “After making these threats he stated that he was a delivery driver and there to deliver food.”

The security guard refused to let Bessacolmenares into the resort and said he needed to get permission from Disney senior leadership first to let the delivery driver in.

The guard said Bessacolmenares tried to leave until the delivery driver realized that photos had been taken of his vehicle tag, so instead Bessacolmenares parked and waited. Bessacolmenares was accompanied by his wife, the report said.

A Disney’s explosives K-9 swept the Corolla and did not find any evidence of bombs or weapons.

The Orange County Sheriff’s Office was also contacted.

Disney trespassed Bessacolmenares, so he is not allowed to return to Walt Disney World Resort property.

He was arrested and taken to Orange County Jail.

Bessacolmenares has been charged with a second-degree felony and is currently being represented by the Public Defender’s Office.
