Santa Claus is meeting guests at DinoLand U.S.A. in Disney’s Animal Kingdom for the first time — and the last time, as the land is set to close in phases over the coming months. The unique themed meet and greet features dinosaur decorations and other fun theming.
Santa Claus Meet and Greet in DinoLand
Guests can find this Santa Claus meet and greet on the patio of Restaurantosaurus through December 24 for the “75th Annual Dino Institute Holiday Party.” Disney has added final touches to the space since we last reported on decorations.
Most notably, there is now a large Dino Institute rug in front of the couch where Santa meets. The space also features a Christmas tree topped with a dino, presents to Santa from the Institute’s interns, and a wreath adorned with Time Rovers from DINOSAUR.
On a cabinet next to Santa’s couch is an Employee of the Month award for Dr. Seeker from DINOSAUR. The award is a sculpted dino and has been decorated with Christmas lights, tiny presents, a wreath, and a Santa hat.
Santa is dressed in his traditional red velvet suit with white fur trim and black boots. His sofa is patched with mismatched flannel fabric. It also features a dinosaur chicken nugget pillow.

Walt Disney World guests can also meet Santa Claus at Disney Springs and eventually all four theme parks.
