Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon Weekend 2025 Villains Themes Revealed

runDisney has revealed the themes for the second annual Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon Weekend.

2025 Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon Weekend Themes

The weekend will be September 4 through 7, 2025, and includes a 5K, 10K, half marathon, challenge, kids’ races, and morning yoga.

The Kids’ Races are themed to Captain Hook and the morning yoga session will feature the Queen of Hearts.

Disneyland Halloween 5K

On September 5, guests will race through Disneyland Resort and Disney California Adventure for 3.1 miles with Ursula as the host. Registration fees vary based on the date of purchase:

  • December 3, 2024 – April 21, 2025: $130.00
  • Beginning April 22, 2025: $140.00

Disneyland Halloween 10K

On September 6, guests will run 6.2 miles through Disneyland Resort and Disney California Adventure in a race hosted by Cruella De Vil. Here are the registration fees:

  • December 3, 2024 – April 21, 2025: $185.00
  • Beginning April 22, 2025: $195.00

Disneyland Halloween Half Marathon

The half marathon (13.1 miles) on September 7 is hosted by Maleficent and will take guests through Disneyland Resort, Disney California Adventure, and surrounding areas.

Here are the registration fees:

  • December 3, 2024 – April 21, 2025: $270.00
  • Beginning April 22, 2025: $280.00

Chills & Thrills Challenge

Guests who complete both the 10K and half marathon, a total of 19.3 miles, will receive a challenge medal featuring Pain and Panic from “Hercules.”

  • Beginning April 22, 2025: $469.99
