The Disney World parks are gearing up for the holidays!

Every park has its iconic Christmas tree up, holiday treats can be found all around the resort, and fun events such as Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and Jollywood Nights have begun. While we love these after-hours holiday parties at Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios, there’s one bit of holiday entertainment we’ll never get enough of over at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and it has FINALLY begun!

The Merry Menagerie is one of the cutest and sweetest holiday traditions you’ll see at any of the Disney World parks. Snow white animals make their way out to greet you in the park between Island Mercantile and Discovery Trading Company. The Tree of Life stands as a beautiful background for these loving, furry, and feathered friends.

The Merry Menagerie are animal puppets like polar bears…

…and seals. Different animals will come out throughout the day, so you may get to see foxes, deer, and others, as well!

The animals are accompanied by musicians, so be ready to dance with the animals as they hang out for a while with you!

You can see these adorable winter animals throughout the day. The times they’ll be out to play and visit are listed on the My Disney Experience app, so if you want to see them, be sure to check out the schedule for the day you’re there.
