Celebrate the time-honored tradition of Life Day with a new Wookiee Life Day bucket available at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland Park. The bucket joins themed treats available for the “Star Wars” holiday, which is based on a Wookiee holiday introduced in “The Star Wars Holiday Special,” and is celebrated on November 17 (the release date of the special).
We got the bucket from the soda cart across from the Milk Stand, but it’s also available at Kat Saka’s Kettle and the cart by Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. It comes with your choice of popcorn or a snack.
Wookiee Life Day Bucket – $35.75
The bucket resembles a log with a carved Wookiee face on one side. Chewbacca is the most famous Wookiee of the “Star Wars” franchise. The species is known for being covered head-to-toe in brown fur.
“Happy Life Day” is carved below the Wookiee’s face. During the holiday, Wookiees on their home planet of Kashyyk travel to the Tree of Life and decorate it with Life Day orbs. Wookiees and other species across the galaxy also celebrate Life Day, including the residents of Batuu.
The reverse side of the bucket depicts the Tree of Life. Wookiees who can’t travel to the tree on Life Day may celebrate with a decorated tree at home, or even just a log.
Carved below the tree are the three tenets of Life Day: “Family, Joy, Harmony.”
The lid of the bucket features tree rings. It swings open to the back for food storage. The strap attaches to the sides of the bucket just under the lid.
The strap is fake brown leather. It features black images of the tree between “Happy Life Day” and the three tenets.
The bucket is available while supplies last. There is a limit of two buckets per person, per transaction.
