A Twist on Tradition brings unique spins on holiday classics for the 2024 Festival of Holidays at Disney California Adventure. This year, the marketplace has two new items.

A Twist on Tradition

A Twist on Tradition is located in the Performance Corridor near Sonoma Terrace and across from San Fransokyo Square.

Menu

The menu sign, inspired by the Festival of Holidays, showcases three items: Barbecue Pulled Pork Cornbread Bake, Turkey Galantine Croissant Muffin Slider, and Berry Pomegranate Paloma. Prices are listed for each festive dish.

The Berry Pomegranate Paloma is returning to the festival, but it was served at Grandma’s Recipes last year.

The cornbread bake is heavy. The pork is tender and nicely marinated. The cornbread is baked well. It’s nothing that’s going to change your life but it’s a nice dish.

*NEW* Turkey Galantine Croissant Muffin Slider – $9

with herb mayo and cranberry marmalade

Plate with sliced turkey, a twist on tradition, covered in cranberry sauce next to two pieces of bread, all elegantly placed on a concrete surface.

This is difficult to eat as it’s too big and messy to hold like a sandwich. It’s served cold. The muffin croissant tastes like a package of grocery store pastries. It’s fine. We wouldn’t have it again.

Berry Pomegranate Paloma – $18

Blanco Tequila, blueberry purée, lime, cranberry and pomegranate juices, and agave syrup topped with Fresca and garnished with a chile-lime rim and orange wheel

The Blueberry Pomegranate Paloma is strong with tequila, but the sweetness from the blueberry cuts it nicely. We recommend drinking without a straw, as the tajĂ­n adds good extra flavor.
