Holiday Duets Marketplace Serves Up a Double Dose of Mac & Cheese for the 2024 Festival of Holidays

The Holiday Duets Marketplace brings festive flavors together for another year of the Disney California Adventure Festival of Holidays.

The Savory Kugel Mac & Cheese is returning, but it was at A Twist on Tradition in 2023.

Only the Chorizo Queso Fundido Mac & Cheese is new but we got the Holiday Duet to have both flavors. The macaroni is served nice and hot.

The Chorizo Queso Fundido is creamy, peppery, and spicy. The pasta itself is good and the chorizo elevates it. We couldn’t even tell the chorizo was plant-based.

Savory Kugel Mac & Cheese ($8.50 for full size serving)

with herb breadcrumbs, sour cream, and chives

The Savory Kugel is rich, creamy, and buttery. It’s very good.

Gin, elderflower & ginger liqueurs, cherry purée, cranberry & lime juices, topped with a citrus hard seltzer and garnished with a lime wedge gummy

We like cranberry cocktails a lot, but this is not working. The elderflower and lime come through faintly but whatever cranberry mixer they used is overbearing. It’s not sticky or syrupy, which is the redeeming factor here.
