It’s almost time to set sail with the Disney Treasure!
Set to take its maiden voyage on December 21st, 2024, the Disney Treasure is just about ready to join the Disney Cruise Line fleet. As a sister ship to the Disney Wish, the Disney Treasure will be home to several amazing experiences that we’ve seen before, but it will also feature a brand-new restaurant that is a must-visit for hardcore Marvel fans!
The Disney Treasure will be home to some familiar dining spots, like the 1923 restaurant and Worlds of Marvel restaurant, as well as the new Plaza de Coco restaurant. However, we can’t help but be extra excited for the brand-new Marvel Celebration of Heroes: Groot Remix, which will be part of the Worlds of Marvel restaurant.
Like the other ships in the fleet, the Disney Treasure will boast the Disney Cruise Line’s rotational dining system, which allows passengers to rotate between three sit-down dining restaurants alongside their servers. The Disney Treasure’s itineraries are a week-long, meaning passengers will get multiple experiences from certain restaurants like Worlds of Marvel. The superhero-themed restaurant offers Avengers: Quantum Encounter and will also offer Marvel Celebration of Heroes: Groot Remix as an additional experience!
This brand-new dining experience is a Disney Treasure exclusive and involves an on-screen surprise party quest for Rocket Raccoon. Diners will get to listen to an “Awesome Mix” from the Guardians of the Galaxy movies while they answer Marvel trivia questions, making this a very interactive experience.
We were invited to get a first look at the Worlds of Marvel restaurant, and we have so much to share!
The dining room is dark and cozy, with tons of Avengers details.
The Quantum Core Souvenir Sipper (also seen on the Disney Wish) has made its way to the Disney Treasure, too!
Speaking of souvenir sippers, we also got a first look at the Pym Particle Enlarged Coke Can sipper! We can’t wait to sip our fancy drinks from this oversized reusable sipper. How fun!
From savory dishes to sweet treats, we got a preview of all kinds of fun new menu items!
Now, let’s talk dessert. Disney shared a preview of THREE sweet treats, and we can hardly pick a favorite. We can’t wait to give these dishes a try — stay tuned for our review!
Here’s a closer look at one of the entrees that will be served at Worlds of Marvel. That Salmon dish is plated so nicely!
We also got a closer look at the Wellington dish, complete with a flaky outer layer and a rich duxelles center. Is anyone else suddenly hungry?!
We can’t wait for this experience to open up to passengers! In the meantime, continue to follow us right here at DFB for all the latest Disney Treasure updates!
