In case you thought mobile ordering worked like magic, we’ve got some news for you… .

As crowds get larger at Disney World, that means one thing: lines are unavoidable, and that is even true for Mobile Ordering! Fortunately, though, there’s an easy fix for that!
Ever since Disney World reopened this summer, crowds have steadily (and safely!) been increasing, which is GREAT to see! But also…lines.

So all of a sudden, we’re seeing longer wait times at popular ride queues, and in-demand reservations. That also means Mobile Ordering is being affected!
A few days ago in Animal Kingdom, we were craving something from Restaurantosaurus, but when we went to Mobile Order, the EARLIEST we could pick it up was 30 minutes later! Needless to say, if you’re as hungry as a dinosaur, this is NOT ideal!

But there’s an easy trick to get around this hungry obstacle! We deduced that even if you’re not yet hungry, open your app ahead of time just to see what the wait is to ORDER your food, and then act accordingly!

This will give you a sense of crowds and how busy restaurants are, so if you can feel your tummy starting to rumble, it’s best to place your Mobile Order further in advance than you normally would!

Another idea: if you’re on the other side of the park, say Africa, and craving something from Restaurantosaurus, place your order before you begin your journey! That way your food will be ready by the time you complete your leisurely stroll!
