Disney shared an updated opening timeframe for the reimagined Test Track at EPCOT.

Test Track 3.0 Opening

Disney has shared in a press statement that the reimagined attraction will open in late 2025. The ride closed this past June.

Walt Disney Imagineering and General Motors are collaborating on the new ride to “push innovation forward and celebrate humanity’s enduring drive … on the thrilling road to a brighter tomorrow.” The updated attraction will “celebrate today’s innovation while highlighting the past, present, and future.” It will draw inspiration from World of Motion, the opening day EPCOT ride that Test Track replaced.

Show scenes will focus on onboard technology, customization, and personalization, showcasing technological advances, and how our lifestyles and relationships to mobility connect everyone. The ride track is expected to remain the same, including the outdoor trip around the show building.

The new queue will feature six exhibits celebrating the vehicles and people that help move us to the next chapter in our motion journey.
