After closing earlier this summer, Tortuga Tavern is set to return to operations as a quick-service dining location this week at Magic Kingdom.

Tortuga Tavern Reopening at Magic Kingdom

According to the Walt Disney World Resort website, Tortuga Tavern will reopen to guests on Wednesday, January 1, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The venue serves American-style fare, including Barbecued Pork Sandwiches, Orange Chicken Strips, and more.

The venue is listed as a seasonal operation, but has been closed since June 2024. From August to November 2024, the location was temporarily transformed into Tortuga Treasures, a retail space that operated while Plaza del Sol Caribe Bazaar, the exit gift shop for Pirates of the Caribbean, was under refurbishment.
