Disney World has been open for a few months and we’ve seen the health and safety measures change and evolve.

Now, the Florida Orange County government is turning attention to the theme parks to ensure that they are following Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidelines. The county-wide effort to ensure health and safety will send strike teams in to make sure that things are going well.
According to Fox 35 Orlando, Orange County leaders have spent the past few weeks cracking down on businesses not following the CDC guidelines. Strike teams have conducted surprise visits at thousands of businesses and now they will be doing the same at area theme parks.
Animal Kingdom
Orange County Mayor Jerry Demings said, “So far over 3,600, to be precise 3,620, different business sites have been visited… In addition to smaller businesses, the strike teams will be once again visiting major theme parks unannounced very soon.”
EPCOT
The statements from the government do not directly mention Disney World, but it is one of the most high-profile parks in the area. Stay tuned for the latest updates about how the global health crisis affects the Disney parks.
