We’re getting into the holiday spirit (yes, ALREADY) with all the new holiday merchandise Disney has been releasing lately!
Christmas Ears
Of course, no holiday look would be truly complete without a set of themed Minnie or Mickey ears! We’ve already seen the peppermint and gingerbread ears, but we were only able to catch a glimpse at the Snowflake Mickey Balloon ears thanks to photos sent to us from an awesome DFB reader. But, today we found these elusive ears in a Disney World theme park and get a closer look!
Just a few days ago, the Snowflake Mickey Balloon ears were spotted at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort, but there was only one pair left when our reader visited! But, today, as we walked around Disney’s Animal Kingdom, we were able to find these fantastically wintery ears at Discovery Trading Company, a gift shop in the Discovery Island section of the park.

These beautiful ears feature a light blue mickey balloon encased in a white outer balloon shape covered in white snowflakes.

The snowflakes cover the front and backs of the ears.

The ears also LIGHT UP which we totally LOVE! You can basically be a walking holiday light show! You can see the switch on the inside of the ears.

There are also some great little rubber features on the inside of the ears to help them stay on your head.

We spotted these at Animal Kingdom, but we’ll be keeping an eye out for them at the other Disney World theme park. If you want these ears though, you’ll definitely want to act fast! When the red Mickey Balloon Ears were released earlier this year, they sold out quickly.
