We’re getting closer and closer to the opening of Epic Universe at Universal Orlando Resort!
Stunning views from Celestial Park
This BRAND-NEW theme park will officially be opening on May 22nd, 2025, and will be home to five different themed lands: Celestial Park, The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Ministry of Magic, SUPER NINTENDO WORLD, How to Train Your Dragon – Isle of Berk, and Dark Universe. We’ve been keeping an eye out for any potential news ahead of the park’s opening, and now we’ve got an Annual Pass update!
We’ve already been able to step inside Epic Universe for a brief media preview, and previews for Team Members have been happening for a little while now, but what about Annual Passholders? Well, good news — Universal Orlando has now released tickets for Annual Passholder previews of the new park!

Tickets are available for dates from April 17th-May 8th, 2025. Universal has opened a queue for Passholders to purchase tickets on its website, but at the time of publishing, the queue has been paused due to the high volume of people on the website.

Prices range from $123-$144 per person for a single-day ticket during the preview windows. Tickets are limited, so you’ll want to go ahead and jump in that queue if you’re interested. We’ll keep you updated with more information as the queue moves forward again.

We do this because it’s important to us as journalists to ensure not only that we give you unbiased opinions, but also that you can trust us to do so since we’re paying our own way. On rare occasions, when we are invited by a company to attend a preview as media, and when we choose to accept that invitation, we will always make you, our readers, aware of that situation. Recently, we were invited by Universal Orlando to attend their media preview of Epic Universe. Note that when we attend events as media we are 1) Not required to review that event/food on any of our channels, and 2) Not required to review that event/food favorably. You can always count on DFB to give you a 100% unbiased and honest review of any event that we attend, food that we eat, or beverage that we drink. You can see more in our Disclosure Policy.
