We’ve been munching on tasty Halloween treats all season long in preparation for the spookiest day of the year! Now that it’s officially “All Hallows’ Eve,” we’re able to try even MORE limited-time snacks, available today only!
So far, EPCOT has had the least to offer in terms of spooky treats this Halloween season. But overnight, the park added a few new items, including a Halloween Sugar Cookie, Nemo & Squirt’s Noggin Concoction, and even their own Halloween Cupcake to take part in the celebration!
When we heard that the Desserts & Champagne Booth from the EPCOT Food & Wine Festival was going to offer an exclusive Halloween Day treat, we jumped for joy!
That’s because this is one of our favorite booths at the festival this year, and it’s not every day that a Food and Wine Festival booth serves up Halloween goodies! This booth is known for the Liquid Nitro Cake Pops it has served up during the festival.
Not only are they a solid deal at only $4 a pop, but this freshman festival dessert even made it on our Best of the Fest list (quite an accomplishment for a first-timer!).
But would this booth’s Halloween Liquid Nitro Cake Pop be any different than the three pops we’ve already enjoyed at Food and Wine? We were more than happy to taste it and find out!
No surprises here! This one-day offering is another liquid nitro chocolate cake pop, but this time it comes decorated with Halloween sprinkles. At first glance, it looks like the booth just got a big ol’ box of Halloween sprinkles to toss their existing cake pops in. But the liquid nitrogen definitely adds to the spookiness since it gives off a smoky effect when the cake pops are dipped in it.
And there are no real surprises here in terms of taste — it’s the same as the three original cake pop offerings, just with sprinkles as the topping! And even though they’re only on one side of the cake pop, there are a looooot of sprinkles — so if you’re not a fan of them (or chocolate!) you might want to skip this treat.
This isn’t our first choice of the cake pop flavors available at the Desserts and Champagne booth, but if you really love the crunch of sprinkles, or get a kick out of the Halloween theming, it could be right up your alley. And at $4 for a pretty large portion, we still think this treat is a great deal. If you want to give the Halloween Liquid Nitro Cake Pop a try, head to the World Showplace Pavilion in EPCOT today to snag it!
