Just today, we tried some NEW items in Jock Lindsey’s Holiday Bar, a festive cupcake with a hidden Mickey in Magic Kingdom, and a milkshake with TWO cakes on top of it. And now we’re trying ANOTHER NEW treat and it is a great, big, beautiful milkshake!
Walt Disney’s Carousal of Progress may not be the most thrilling ride in Magic Kingdom, but it truly is a classic. And now, you’ll be singing there’s a great, big, beautiful tomorrow as you enjoy the NEW “Just a Dream Away Shake!” We found this beauty in Tomorrowland in Magic Kingdom at Auntie Gravity’s Galactic Goodies!

It’s made of a salted caramel milkshake with a silver sugar churro and can be all yours for $8.49. We LOVED all of the adorable sprinkles on this shake — they gave it a fun, futuristic look with all those cute stars and silvery pieces.

And the shake itself is SO GOOD!! If you like salted caramel, you’ll definitely enjoy this! It’s not the most unique shake flavor in the world, but sometimes simple is best and in this case, it definitely was.

Now, did we need a churro shoved into it? Ummm…probably not. It gives it a fun look but it was a HUGE disappointment! The churro itself was probably fine when it was originally made and was hot, crunchy, and fresh. But since it was just sitting in this shake, it got soggy and totally gross in terms of consistency. It was really chewy and just…not good AT ALL.

The real play here is to get the shake and then get a nice, hot, and fresh churro on the side to go with it. But mixing the churro inside of the shake and having it get all soggy was…in a word, disgusting. But we REALLY enjoyed the milkshake itself and we were really happy to see Carousel of Progress finally getting some love! Now, if we could all just get a Rover plush made please!
