Camp Rock 3 Officially in Production, Jonas Brothers Returning

The official Disney+ X account posted a video with the Jonas Brothers confirming that Camp Rock 3 is currently in production.

The post‘s caption reads:

We’re back!! #CampRock3 is now in production 🎤

The short video shows the Jonas Brothers in and around the Camp Rock set, including the lakeside stage painted with the Camp Rock logo and backed by trees carved with musical notes. Flanked by Joe and Kevin, Nick strides onto the stage exclaiming, “Camp Rock! It’s so good to be back.”

This cuts into a montage of behind the scenes shots of the Camp Rock 3 production set to the Jonas Brothers’ “Play My Music.”

At the end of the video, Nick Jonas (with Joe and Kevin behind him) says, “It’s time to head back to camp!” as the camera pans out over the lake and stage, then shows each of them in director’s chairs . The shot fades into a graphic of the Disney Camp Rock 3 logo above a dock with the text “Now In Production.”

According to Deadline, Camp Rock 3 filming kicked off this week in Vancouver, Canada. Demi Lovato, star of the original Camp Rock (2008) and Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam (2010), is executive producing alongside the Jonas Brothers. The Jonas Brothers also reprise their roles as Shane, Nate, and Jason Gray of the band Connect 3.

The story involves Connect 3 returning to Camp Rock to discover the next up-and-coming talent to be their opener, predictably leading to drama among the new crop of campers. Among them will be Disney Channel stars Liamani Segura (Descendants: Wicked Wonderland) as Sage, Malachi Barton (Zombies 4: Dawn of the Vampires) as Fletch, and Lumi Pollack (Electric Bloom) as Rosie.
