Harambe Market Now Closed to Become Burger & Chicken Nuggets Restaurant at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

At Disney’s Animal Kingdom, Harambe Market has closed for a months-long update, while Trilo-Bites and Dino-Bite Snacks are permanently closed.

The Harambe Market seating area is still open to walk into. Despite the restaurant no longer serving, there are still some signs advertising it’s menu.

The menu on the board at the main entrance has been torn down. It’s been replaced by a sign stating “Market Currently Not Serving” and pointing to other Disney’s Animal Kingdom quick-service dining options: Satu’li Canteen, Flame Tree Barbecue, Pizzafari, and Restaurantosaurus.

Menu boards throughout the market have been removed.

Harambe Market will reopen in early 2026 serving hamburgers and chicken nuggets as a replacement for Restaurantosaurus, which closes permanently in February.

Dino-Bite Snacks

No new construction walls went up around the DinoLand snack kiosks overnight. Guests can still walk up to Dino-Bite Snacks next to Restaurantosaurus and Trilo-Bites at the land’s entrance, but they are permanently closed.

Condiments, utensils, and napkins have been removed from the counter on the front of Dino-Bite Snacks. The menu has been replaced by a “Currently Not Serving Sign.”

Dino-Bite Snacks served ice cream treats. Hand-scooped ice cream will not return to Disney’s Animal Kingdom until February. A variety of soft-serve ice cream, floats, and sundaes are available from Tamu Tamu Refreshments in Africa and Anandapur Ice Cream Truck in Asia.

Trilo-Bites

It’s the same story at Trilo-Bites. Both menu boards now have “Currently Not Serving” signs. Trilo-Bites offered DOLE Whip floats and Buffalo Chicken Chips. A variety of flavored DOLE Whip floats will now be available at Warung Outpost in Asia, while Buffalo Chicken Chips will move to Eight Spoon Cafe on Discovery Island.
