Rumors are swirling around Disney Springs that one longtime sweet spot may be nearing the end of its run.

According to multiple unconfirmed reports, Sprinkles Cupcakes could be preparing to close its Disney Springs location, with today (Wednesday) potentially marking its final day of operation. As of now, neither Sprinkles Cupcakes nor Disney Springs has made an official announcement, but several signs are fueling speculation.

One of the most noticeable indicators appeared on the official Disney website, where Sprinkles Cupcakes is currently listed with operating hours only through today. No hours are shown for January 1, 2026, or any future dates, which has raised questions among guests and fans of the bakery.

Another clue comes directly from Sprinkles’ own systems. The bakery’s online ordering platform does not offer any pickup times beyond December 31, suggesting operations may not be planned to continue into the new year.

Adding to the uncertainty, unverified internal documents have reportedly begun circulating online and appear to reference a closure. These materials have not been independently confirmed, so their accuracy remains unclear. Still, their appearance has intensified speculation that a decision may already be in motion behind the scenes.

Some reports also claim this would not be an isolated closure. Instead, the Disney Springs location could be part of a broader shutdown affecting multiple Sprinkles Cupcakes locations nationwide. At this time, those claims remain unconfirmed.

If the rumors prove accurate, it would bring an end to Sprinkles’ nearly decade-long presence at Disney Springs. The bakery first opened in 2016 and quickly became known for its cupcakes, cookies, and signature cupcake ATM, which made it a popular stop for guests looking for a quick treat.

Until an official statement is released, this situation remains firmly in rumor territory. We’ll continue to watch closely and share updates as more information becomes available.
