The Garden View Lounge at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort has been closed since the COVID-19 pandemic-related shutdown of Disney World, but back in November 2025, Disney announced that it would be reopening!
Garden View Lounge
They didn’t share an official date — just that it would be happening sometime in “spring 2026.” But now, we officially know that the Garden View Lounge is reopening on March 19th!
Disney just announced that The Garden View Lounge – Tea Experience will be opening its doors once again at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa starting March 19th!
Reservations will open on February 19th, and Disney shared that there will be new touches from the Walt Disney Animation Studios film Alice in Wonderland. From small bites, both sweet and savory, you’ll get to experience the elegance of this space, now with a whimsical touch. There will be options for both adults and the little ones, making this an outing the whole family can enjoy together.
The lounge was previously home to an afternoon tea experience, so we’re excited to see how this new offering compares!
We’ll be on the lookout for the latest updates about the reopening of the Garden View Lounge and the new tea experience. In the meantime, make sure you stay tuned to the Disney Food Blog for the latest Disney news and more!
