Tracker Tips: Explore the World of Animal Crossing at SEA LIFE Orlando

Nintendo fans, listen up! For a limited time, the world of Animal Crossing is coming to life at SEA LIFE Orlando with the Animal Crossing: New Horizons Aquarium Tour — and you can have the chance to meet some of your favorite characters from the game.

From February 13 through April 30, 2026, guests visiting SEA LIFE Orlando at ICON Park can enjoy several offerings and temporary additions to the aquarium themed to the game, including:

  • Critter Panels: Themed descriptions of creatures found in-game as described by Blathers, the owl curator of your island’s museum.
  • Stamp Rally: A stamp rally featuring character stamps of Tom Nook, Isabelle, Pascal, Kapp’n, and Blathers.
  • Character Standees: Character standees from the game set up throughout the aquarium for photos.
  • My Nintendo Kiosk: Earn 100 My Nintendo Platinum Points for visiting the aquarium!
  • Character Meet and Greets: On select weekends, guests can meet Tom Nook, Isabelle, or K.K. Slider.
  • Merchandise: Select Animal Crossing items available for purchase in the aquarium’s gift shop.

We visited SEA LIFE on the first day of the Animal Crossing event, but unfortunately, the game merchandise had not yet arrived at that point. The items may be available during your visit.

Critter Panels

In Animal Crossing: New Horizons, you can fish and dive for all sorts of undersea creatures to add to your museum. As part of the Aquarium Tour, various “Critter Panels” are on display alongside their corresponding exhibit, featuring information from Blathers — the Animal Crossing museum curator — himself.

We thought this was very cool, and enjoyed being able to connect the game critters to their real-world counterparts! It was also fun to read the educational descriptions for each display, as described by Blathers.

Tracker Tip: Keep your ears open for the music played in the aquarium — you might recognize it from the game!

Stamp Rally

As you make your way through the aquarium, you can take part in the Stamp Rally, which is an activity pulled straight from Animal Crossing: New Horizons, usually offered for International Museum Day (May 18-31 in-game).

There are five character stamps to collect, located at tables set up throughout the aquarium. These stamps can be earned by listening to SEA LIFE employees explain nearby creatures that are found in the game, or through a quick activity. If the aquarium is particularly busy, you can just walk up and get your stamp. Once you get all five, you can redeem a special prize to commemorate your accomplishment.

Tracker Tip: We were not informed of the prize during our visit, but you should be able to pick it up with your completed Stamp Rally sheet in the aquarium gift shop.

Character Standees

As part of the Stamp Rally, there are standees for several characters from the game: Tom Nook, Isabelle, Pascal, Kapp’n, Blathers, and Timmy and Tommy. Nearly all of these are at or near the Stamp Rally locations. Timmy and Tommy, however, can be found in the gift shop.

Tracker Tip: You can take photos with these, but be sure to avoid using flash as it may disturb the nearby sea animals!

My Nintendo Kiosk

At the exit of the aquarium, a My Nintendo Kiosk has been set up for you to redeem 100 Platinum Points to your My Nintendo account. All you have to do is scan the QR code on the display next to the kiosk, log in to your account on your mobile device, and then confirm to receive your Platinum Points! A Nintendo account is required to do this, though.

Tracker Tip: You can redeem Platinum Points for digital and printable items from Nintendo, as well as physical items for free — just pay for shipping! You can check it all out at My.Nintendo.com.

Character Meet and Greets

Now for the main attraction: meeting one of the characters from Animal Crossing! Meet and greets are included with the price of admission to SEA LIFE Orlando, and are only offered on select dates:

  • February 13-15
  • March 20-22
  • April 3-5

During our visit on February 13, we were able to meet the big tanuki in charge, Tom Nook (luckily, we’ve long paid off our home loan). However, when visiting on the other dates, you may be able to meet Isabelle or K.K. Slider instead.

Meet-and-greets run from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., then from 3:30 p.m. – 6 p.m. The characters will be out for 20 minutes, and then go on a 20-minute break, rotating as the day goes on. This can cause long wait times, so be prepared if the meet-and-greet is the main reason for your visit. We waited a little over an hour to meet Tom Nook.

Tracker Tip: There is no photographer available, but you can ask the attendant with the character to take photos or videos for you, or have someone in your party help out.

We had a great time visiting SEA LIFE Orlando for the Animal Crossing: New Horizons Aquarium Tour! It was a fun and new way to experience the game in real life, and who would turn down the opportunity to meet Tom Nook?
