Tall ferns in white pots surround the fountain so guests can’t reach it. We could see some equipment behind the plants. The work is likely a standard refurbishment. Disney hasn’t announced any changes to the space.

The fountain features statues of the penguins from Mary Poppins preparing a tea party with teapots, cups, and trays. See it in our video below from the building’s 2013 opening.

The resort is currently celebrating Easter season with chocolate eggs on display, including in The Villas lobby.
