It’s finally time to go back to the Garden View Lounge at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort!

This restaurant has been closed since 2020, and now it’s reopening after a refurbishment with a new menu, new offerings, and a new interior. We can’t wait to check it out — happy reopening day!
Garden View Lounge was set to open at 11AM today, so we arrived well in advance to make sure we didn’t miss any opening celebrations. Unfortunately, there was no pomp or circumstance, but you could feel the excitement from the opening day guests!

At 11AM, they started letting in those who had reservations. We spoke to the Cast Member at the host’s stand and were told that currently, there’s no Walk-Up Waitlist or option for dining without a reservation.

The dining room wasn’t full after all the 11AM reservations checked in, so here’s hoping they open up some availability after the initial day. Reservations are available through the Disney World website or My Disney Experience app.
