Disney announced the opening date of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.

Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets Opening Date

The Muppets band jams in a studio as fans watch and snap photos—like concept art come to life.

The revamped ride will open on May 26, 2026.

We previously reported on rumors the ride would open Memorial Day weekend. To get the Muppets attraction done as quickly as possible, Disney closed the Aerosmith pre-show late last year and is altering very little of the ride itself.

Check out our last look at Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith, which closed permanently at the beginning of March.

The new version of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster still takes place at G-Force Records, which was bought by Scooter’s uncle J.P. Grosse. Guests encounter The Electric Mayhem while touring the studio. Just like Aerosmith, the band is late for a concert across town. Guests board limousines souped up by Muppet Labs to get to the show on time.

The giant guitar and upside-down car outside are being repainted. MuppetVision 3D props are expected to fill the queue. The show closed permanently last year to make way for Monstropolis.
