Hey, friends! If you’re anything like me, you’ll take just about any excuse to celebrate, and this one is a favorite for so many of us. Cinco de Mayo festivities are officially returning to Disney Springs, and one of our go-to spots is bringing back all the flavor, fun, and festive energy we remember from last year.
Over at Frontera Cocina, the celebration will run from May 2nd through May 5th, and it sounds like the perfect way to soak up the atmosphere. Guests can enjoy live mariachi performances (which were such a hit previously and really brought the whole space to life), along with limited-time popsicle margaritas, fresh and vibrant menu offerings, and plenty of sunshine thanks to outdoor seating and bar areas. It’s the kind of lively, music-filled setting that turns a simple meal into a full experience.
If you haven’t visited before, Frontera Cocina has been a staple at Disney Springs since 2016, created by acclaimed chef Rick Bayless. The menu celebrates authentic Mexican cuisine with bold flavors and high-quality ingredients, and it’s one of those places that consistently delivers. Personally, it’s one of my favorite dining locations in Disney Springs, and I don’t say that lightly. The margaritas here are truly something special. I’ve tried plenty around the world, and these still stand out.
And if you’re planning your visit, don’t overlook their happy hour, which runs daily from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM on the side patio and bar. You’ll find house margaritas for $7 and specialty margaritas for $12, along with select deals on tequila, mezcal, and other beverages. It’s a great way to ease into the evening before the festivities kick up a notch.
We love any reason to celebrate, and this returning Cinco de Mayo tradition is such a fun way to enjoy the culture, cuisine, and vibrant atmosphere that Frontera Cocina does so well. If you’re going to be at Disney Springs in early May, this might just be the perfect stop to add to your plans. Don’t wait too long to make those arrangements, friends, this is one celebration you won’t want to miss!
