Leia Organa is now meeting guests at Disneyland as the Galaxy’s Edge timeline shift officially changes today, April 29.

Leia Organa fights for freedom in the galaxy. She leads her forces with a compassionate heart and limitless will, determine to spread hope to all.
She can be seen in her The Empire Strikes Back-inspired outfit from the Hoth base, modified for the Batuu landscape. Leia meets guests near the Millennium Falcon. Times may vary so be sure to check the Disneyland app, but on the first day here are her appearance times:
- 8:15 a.m.
- 9:30 a.m.
- 11:15 a.m.
- 12:30 p.m.
- 1:45 p.m.
Like all Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge characters, Leia will be roaming and won’t stand in one place during her sets.
When we encountered her, she wandered in front of and behind the fencing surrounding the Falcon.
She was also seen fixing the Millennium Falcon.
Disneyland shared a fun teaser of R2-D2 searching for the new characters, which also include Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Darth Vader, and the Imperial Stormtroopers.
Timeline Shift
So far, the changes we’ve noticed around Galaxy’s Edge in Disneyland leading up to the original trilogy timeline shift have been minimal. Oga’s Cantina recently reopened after a months-long refurbishment, but the work mostly involved general maintenance with only minor references changed, and after a short closure to “acquire more treasures,” Dok-Ondar’s Den of Antiquities reopened with some new props around his shop.
The area around Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance remains set during the sequels and Rey will continue to appear there.
