The holiday season has arrived at Walt Disney World!
From the cavalcades at Magic Kingdom to the Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays to the tree at Hollywood Studios and treats at Animal Kingdom, Christmas is in the AIR!
But Walt Disney World isn’t the only Disney resort celebrating in 2020…Shanghai Disney Resort is also decking the halls, serving sweet holiday treats, and selling festive merchandise!

The holiday season in Shanghai is well under way — it started on November 27th! And if you’re there, the first thing you’ll see at Celebration Square on Mickey Avenue are FOUR Christmas gifts, each of which will be unwrapped every week, revealing a new surprise! The Enchanted Storybook Castle will also be “unwrapped” every week!

That’s not the only fun photo opportunity! There will also be the nightly Mickey’s Magical Tree Lighting Ceremony, featuring none other than Mickey and Minnie Mouse! And while live entertainment is on pause at Walt Disney World, there will be two shows at Shanghai Disneyland, “Happy Holidays, Mickey!” and “Christmas Swing!” It will also “snow” on Mickey Avenue! There are also TONS of festive holiday decorations around the park!

And we CANNOT imagine the holiday season at a Disney resort without Christmas treats, and Shanghai Disneyland is delivering with Duffy and Mickey Gingerbread Cookies, Chip ‘n’ Dale Christmas popcorn buckets, Christmas Chocolate Log Cakes, and so much more!

There are also themed meals at Mickey & Pals Market Cafe and the Royal Banquet Hall, the later of which is serving Duffy-themed menus on weekends and Christmas Day!

At the Disneytown Christmas Market, there are craft stations, food booths, games, and other holiday-themed activities. Weekends will be especially festive with carolers! Going on a weeknight? That’s fine! There’s a nightly tree lighting ceremony starring Mickey Mouse.

And, of course, there’s MERCH! Because it’s Shanghai Disneyland, there is a long of Duffy and Friends characters in the cuddliest winter costumes among items featuring Mickey, Minnie, Chip, Dale, and friends!
