Universal has been quietly expanding its theme park offerings and experiences across the world, including Universal Kids Resort in Texas, as well as Universal Horror Unleashed in Las Vegas.

Well, we’ve been following the news about a new Universal theme park currently being built in the U.K., and now Universal has revealed the theme park’s new name: Universal United Kingdom Resort.
Universal first confirmed its new U.K. theme park in 2025, and in late 2025, the U.K. government officially approved the project that would build a new theme park and hotel in Bedford. In March 2026, we got word that a utilities group had been assigned to start working on infrastructure in Bedford for the new theme park, which is now officially being called Universal United Kingdom Resort.

Universal has not yet revealed many details about the theme park, except for some early concept art imagining what it might look like. However, we don’t know what sort of lands the park might have, although with it being in the U.K., we can’t imagine it NOT having a Wizarding World of Harry Potter area. Rumors have suggested that it could have a land dedicated to The Lord of the Rings, too…which would be rather…EPIC. Concept art also suggests that there will be a Jurassic Park-themed land.
