The Hollywood Brown Derby at Disney's Hollywood Studios is apparently getting an exterior refurbishment. Rolling planters and scrim have gone up around the patio.

The patio is home to the Brown Derby Lounge, which offers drinks and bites. Rolling planters nearly block the patio from view, wrapping around all three sides.

Behind the planters, scrim is visible attached to the patio fencing.

Over the planters and scrim, we can see that awnings have been removed from the restaurant’s wall. There are half-circles where the red awnings used to be. Umbrellas that usually shade the seating are also gone.

Hours are still listed for the lounge on the Walt Disney World website but we doubt it will actually be operating right now.

Disney has not announced details of the refurbishment.
