What’s New at Magic Kingdom: Crowds, A 2021 MagicBand, and FUZZY MINNIE EARS!

Hello from the Magic Kingdom!

Magic Kingdom

We spent a day wandering around all the lands just to see what’s new — so here are the latest updates!

Magic Kingdom Merchandise Updates

Emporium

We think the fuzzy Silver and Gold Minnie Ears are possibly the coziest ears EVER! Disney told us these were coming way back in October, and we’ve seen them at Disneyland, but we’re so happy to finally see them at Disney World, too!

Gold and Silver Minnie Ears

We love the sweater bow with the snowflake details, but it’s the fuzzy ears and headband that blows us away! You can grab them now for $29.99.

Bonjour Gifts

Although we’ve been calling those snow-making wands Snoap Wands (because that’s technically what they are — they turn soap into snow), we finally saw a sign at Disney World referring to them as “Holiday Snow Blowers.” Who knew? The packaging says “Snow Wands,” though.

Snow Wands

These are also currently on sale for nearly half off — you can grab them throughout the parks for $15!

Frontier Trading Post

We’ve been starting to see a lot of cool 2021 merchandise pop up at the parks, including this Limited Edition 2021 MagicBand that has comic book-style art of Disney characters on it, along with “2021.” We are SO ready for next year!

2021 MagicBand

This MagicBand, which costs $29.99, also has “Walt Disney World” on it! It’s so colorful!

Island Supply

Over at Island Supply by Sunglass Hut, we spotted a sale on sunglasses, with some discounted as much as 60% off!

Island Supply Sunglass Hut Sale

We saw a few pairs that were 50% off, too.

Other pairs were marked down 20% and 30% off.

We love a good sale!

Sir Mickey’s

We spotted a brand new Princesses Water Bottle. It’s got ALL the princesses on it, too! And look at that charming jeweled lid!

Princesses Water Bottle

There’s Tiana, Mulan, Rapunzel, Jasmine, and Ariel!

But there’s also Belle, Aurora, Cinderella, and Moana!

And then it has Snow White, Pocahontas, and Merida!

That’s EVERYONE, and we love it! You can grab this for $14.99.

Splashdown Photos

We found the matching beach towel to that water bottle at Splashdown Photos! Check it out!

Princesses Beach Towel

We love how the colorful backgrounds also feature sketches of their castles/homes!

Princesses Beach Towel

We are so ready to take this towel — and the princesses — to the beach! It’s $26.99.

Check out this Monorail beach towel!

Uptown Jewelers

Remember those amazing Citizen Marvel watches we told you about at Uptown Jewelers? Well, they are now BACK IN STOCK! The Spider-Man Watch is $395 and the Avengers Watch is $350. And there’s a Captain America Watch for $325!

Marvel Watches

And yes, the Iron Man I Love You 3000 Watch is here, too! That one is $495. These are SO NICE.

Magic Kingdom Construction Updates

Rivers of America

It looks like the work on the Rivers of America track is moving along!

Rivers of America

We’re looking forward to seeing the Liberty Square Riverboat back on those waters again soon!

Main Street Train Station

The Walt Disney Railroad is currently closed to visitors, but the train is available for photos at the Fantasyland Station. However, we noticed scrims had been put up at the Main Street Train Station. You can see them behind the princesses (and Fairy Godmother) here.

Train Station Scrims

We’re not sure why those scrims are there, but if we find out, we’ll let you know!

Here are all the currently closed Magic Kingdom attractions

Magic Kingdom Miscellaneous Updates

Crowds

The parks have been at capacity over the weekend, and we’ve seen some crowds at Magic Kingdom!

Magic Kingdom Crowds

Disney recently raised the park capacity to 35%, and when park passes are full, you can tell!

Here’s what Disney World at capacity looks like

However, we enjoyed our trip around the Magic Kingdom finding the latest construction updates and new merchandise. But stay tuned because we’ll be back soon with even more updates!
