Tokyo Disney Resort now has dates and some details of its annual Disney Halloween event, including the returning Disney Villains parade, Halloween Greeting, and the return of the Coco event.

Disney Halloween 2026 Dates
Disney Halloween at Tokyo Disney Resort will be from September 16 through October 31.
The Villains’ Halloween “Into the Frenzy”
The Villains’ Halloween “Into the Frenzy” will be performed once daily on the Tokyo Disneyland parade route. It’s about 45 minutes.
The parade features six floats with characters like Dr. Facilier from The Princess and the Frog, Cruella de Vil from One Hundred and One Dalmatians, Captain Hook from Peter Pan, Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty, Jafar from Aladdin, Ursula from The Little Mermaid, Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy, and more.
Dr. Facilier leads the parade on a float that acts as the entrance to the Disney Villains’ party. During show stops, the Villains and Mickey & Friends dance to energetic music. Flames and smoke erupt from a float.
The show stops will be in the Westernland and Fantasyland area, the Plaza, Tomorrowland, and Toontown area.
Daiwa House Industry is still the show’s sponsor this year. Daiwa also sponsors Stitch Encounter in Tokyo Disneyland and Anna and Elsa’s Frozen Journey in Tokyo DisneySea.
Haunted Mansion “Holiday Nightmare”
The Haunted Mansion will be transformed for the season into Haunted Mansion “Holiday Nightmare,” Tokyo Disney Resort’s version of the Haunted Mansion Holiday “The Nightmare Before Christmas” overlay. This will be in place from September 16, 2026 through January 7, 2027. As a note, this is a few days sooner than the attraction overlay closed this past Halloween season.
Halloween Harbor Greeting
At Tokyo DisneySea, the 15-minute Halloween Greeting in Mediterranean Harbor will be performed twice daily. Mickey, Minnie, Duffy, ShellieMay, and more characters will appear in their Halloween costumes on a decorated boat featuring a Jack-o’-Lantern. Guests can join in with a trick-or-treat-themed dance.
Trick or Treating
Cast Members with light-up buckets will pass out candy to guests who say, “Trick or treat!”
Night High Halloween Fireworks
This nighttime spectacular includes fireworks and music across both parks.
Halloween Food & Beverage
Special menus will be available at both parks starting on September 15.
Special holiday-themed food will be available for the event. Other than the promotional photos, however, no other information has been published so far. We will update this when we have additional information.

Special Halloween merchandise will be available beginning on September 15. Here is a sneak peek of some items:
Similar to the food, the only information we have so far for this year’s Halloween merchandise from Tokyo Disney Resort is the promotional photo above. We will update once we have more to share.
Costumes
Guests can dress up in Disney character costumes at both parks from September 15 through 30, and October 16 through 31. Guests must follow costume guidelines, including:
- Guests in costumes other than those listed on the special web page as characters from eligible films and other works will not be admitted.
- Guests may not be allowed to enter the park if their costume does not follow the above or goes against park safety or costume policies.
- A changing space is not available at Tokyo Disneyland or Tokyo DisneySea. Guests must dress up and apply make-up at home or at their place of stay before visiting, or use the changing space at Ikspiari, which will be available for guests to use for a fee. Guests are asked to refrain from using the restrooms, multi-function restrooms, or storage locker areas both inside and outside the park for changing clothes.
- Guests may be required to remove parts of their costume during shows if they block other guests’ views.
Lazos de la Familia
The Coco-inspired Lazos de la Familia celebration is returning this year and will be in Lost River Delta at Tokyo DisneySea from September 15 through November 2 to honor Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead). According to the Tokyo Disney Resort Instagram, this area will be expanded from the first iteration last year.
There will be colorful decorations, including skull banners and marigolds on the Puente Buena Vista bridge. Entertainment will include mariachi music and dance performances.
Guests can also meet Miguel, who will have an outfit change in the afternoon and reappear as his skeleton version.
At Yucatan Base Camp Grill, special menu items will be available.
