The entire Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel will completely close for refurbishment this fall. Work has been ongoing since June.

Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel Refurbishment

Reservations are not available beginning October 12, 2026 and there is no reopening date at this time. According to disney_magical_kingdom_blog, future stays will blend themed storytelling experiences with innovative design to create more wonderful memories for guests staying at Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel.

Similarly themed to Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa at Walt Disney World, the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel features several room types (including Club Level suites), restaurants like Crystal Lotus, Walt’s Café, and Enchanted Garden Restaurant, and recreation including the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.

The official description of the hotel reads:

Indulge in timeless elegance at the Hong Kong Disneyland Hotel, where you’ll revel in the eternal magic of Disney; refined and reimagined for the most discerning of travelers. From the grandest Victorian architecture to the most enchanting latticework, every delicate detail pulls you deeper into the timeless charm of Disney storytelling. Boasting stately accommodations with modern amenities plus live music in the grand 6-story lobby , this architectural marvel combines the splendor of a vintage seaside resort with the magic of Disney.

Other hotel renovations began in June 2026, starting with the west side of the building. Work takes place daily between 11:00 AM and 4:00 PM, during which Guests may experience some smell or noise related to the renovation. Guest room views are be affected, and all key facilities and service remain fully operational during this time.
