The popular Lilo and Stitch character has been removed from the exterior of the World of Disney shop, located in Disney Springs at Walt Disney World.

Stitch Removed from World of Disney

During a recent visit to Disney Springs, we noticed the Stitch statue that normally decorates one of the entrances to World of Disney has mysteriously disappeared.

For reference, this is what the Stitch statue looks like:

The large blue alien is usually grinning while holding his arms out over the World of Disney sign.

The World of Disney shop has already undergone some sign replacement earlier this year, so it’s possible the Stitch statue is part of this refresh and will return soon. At the time of writing, there has been no announcement of Stitch’s departure or possible return from Disney.
