Disney has filed another permit for construction at the future Indiana Jones ride in Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The ride is a reimagining of DINOSAUR and part of the new Tropical Americas land.

The Notice of Commencement lists Ferran Services & Contracting, Inc. Though the description just reads, “General Construction,” Ferran Services specializes in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing services.

The permit was also filed by Disney’s Facility Asset Management team rather than Walt Disney Imagineering. This suggests general maintenance rather than thematic work.

Ferran might be making updates to the HVAC, electrical, and/or plumbing systems of the former DINOSAUR ride building while other contractors continue work on the ride itself and building facade.

This appears to be an extension of a permit filed in early 2025, which expired in May 2026. The new permit expires April 30, 2027.

Another recent permit extended by Imagineering was for Mecca Productions to “Install set elements.” Imagineering also recently contracted Balfour Beatty for work on “building infrastructure and system enhancements” at the ride’s address. In the spring, Imagineering filed three set installation permits.
