Animator Cheyenne Jackson draws Red and Chloe from Descendants and mistakenly presents them as one-dimensional archetypes in the latest episode of How Not to Draw.
How Not To Draw: Red and Chloe
The duo fights back with a rousing new song called “More Than Just One Shade.” Watch the video below:
Like previous entries in the parody drawing tutorial series, the video begins as an art lesson before the animated character takes over the scene. How NOT To Draw has previously featured a wide range of Disney characters, including Angel from Lilo and Stitch, Figment, Winnie the Pooh, and several Disney Channel original characters. The recurring format lets Disney characters interrupt, derail, and usually overwhelm what begins as a simple animation tutorial.
In Descendants: Wicked Wonderland, Red and Chloe work together, along with Red’s new sister Pink, Luisa Madrigal’s son Luis, Captain Hook’s daughter Hazel, and Maddox’s son Max to save the Queen of Hearts after she was captured by Maddox Hatter.
The movie released on July 16 on Disney Channel and went to Disney+ the next day.
Over at Walt Disney Presents in Disney’s Hollywood Studios, a new display featuring costumes and props from Descendants: Wicked Wonderland recently arrived. And you can shop for several of the dolls from the movie.
