Guests can bring the rustic beauty of Disney’s Wilderness Lodge home with a new ornament modeled after the resort’s distinctive architecture.
Disney’s Wilderness Lodge Ornament — $34.99
The fully sculpted ornament resembles a miniature architectural model of Disney’s Wilderness Lodge. One side recreates the resort’s main entrance, including its layered green roofs, timber walls, stone chimneys, expansive windows, and covered porte-cochère.
The different rooflines and projecting wings give the ornament considerable depth. Sculpted logs, wooden railings, stonework, and window frames reproduce details found throughout the Pacific Northwest-inspired resort.
The opposite side represents the rear elevation of the lodge, which faces the resort’s pool and Bay Lake. The facade has rows of windows and balconies beneath a large central gable.
Mickey and Minnie stand together outside the building, dressed for a day in the wilderness. Both characters wear orange caps with a mix of orange and khaki clothes. Their hiking-inspired outfits complement the resort’s celebration of the American outdoors.
The narrow ends of the ornament continue the architectural design with steep, overlapping gables, green trim, log siding, small balconies, and stone accents. A flat white base allows the piece to stand independently when it is not hanging from a tree.
A dark green satin ribbon is attached to the roof with a silver clasp. The Disney’s Wilderness Lodge logo is printed on the underside of the base.
We found the ornament at Wilderness Lodge Mercantile, the resort’s primary merchandise location.
The ornament joins a longstanding collection of similarly elaborate ornaments modeled after entire Walt Disney World hotel buildings.
