Gertie the Dinosaur fans, this one’s for you. Disney has released a new pin celebrating Disney’s Hollywood Studios’ beloved landmark, and you don’t have to go all the way to Disney’s Hollywood Studios to get it. As an extra bonus, her eyes glow under black light.

Dinosaur Gertie Pin – $14.99

The pin, available online at the Disney Store, features Dinosaur Gertie set against a scenic backdrop, with enameled detailing and laser print elements. In a nice touch, the eyes, windows, and stars glow under blacklight. It has a nickel finish, a 2026 Disney Pin Trading backstamp, and a Mickey Mouse icon pin back, arriving on a Disney Pins card measuring 3 1/2″ x 2″. The pin itself is approximately 1 3/4″ in diameter.

The pin is inspired by Dinosaur Gertie’s Ice Cream of Extinction in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Dinosaur Gertie’s Ice Cream of Extinction has stood in Echo Lake since the park originally opened as Disney-MGM Studios in 1989. The iconic green brontosaurus is based on the character of Gertie the Dinosaur, who first appeared in cartoons in 1914.
