We’re painting the roses red at Magic Kingdom this morning and trying the brand-new Queen of Hearts Tart. The Halloween treat is available at Cheshire Cafe during regular park hours and Storybook Treats during Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party.
Both locations are in Fantasyland. Storybook Treats is open until 10 p.m. during Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party.
Queen of Hearts Tart – $5.79
with Sour Cherry Pie Filling
The tart is a nice presentation with the Queen herself framed by yellow frosting. It’s a standard tart with a layer of sour cherry filling that is not too sour and not too sweet. We found it easy to share, easy to eat, and fun to look at.
This cherry tart is not going to change your life, but it’s an enjoyable snack if you can keep your head.
