Happy haunts are materializing at Magic Kingdom today for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party (MNSSHP), including the new Hatbox Ghost popcorn bucket.
Hatbox Ghost Popcorn Bucket – $55

The popcorn bucket is a dark blue and is shaped to look like the hatbox the ghost’s head is stored in. A clear window is on one side of the bucket, while the other side has an embossed Haunted Mansion logo.

A switch at the base of the popcorn bucket slides the head of the ghost around so he becomes visible, mimicking the appearing/disappearing effect found in the attraction. The switch at the base of the popcorn bucket turns on lights and sounds.

The strap is decorated with the Disney Parks logo, bats on a moon, and various Haunted Mansion icons, like the Hatbox Ghost and gargoyle candelabra.

The top lid can be opened up to reveal the compartment where the popcorn can be stored. The ghostly blue head of the Hatbox Ghost can also be seen in this top-down view.
Magic Kingdom guests who aren’t attending Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party can still purchase Halloween novelties. The Halloween Winnie the Pooh Sipper and Vampire Mickey Bucket will be available all day.
The Hatbox Ghost bucket will also be available at Disneyland Resort, where it will be available beginning on D23 Day, August 13.
Stay tuned for more MNSSHP coverage tonight!
